How do you determine the goals for each child?

Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) determine goals through an initial assessment, which leads to an individual treatment plan for each client. Caregivers will also evaluate parent interviews, biopsychosocial documents, and reinforcer profiles to better understand and serve each child.

Lastly, we recognize that parents and caregivers know their children best, so we regularly consult with them to get their feedback and reevaluate established goals as necessary.

How is progress evaluated?

Formalized and standardized assessments help us establish an initial baseline by understanding strengths and deficits. Then, we use ongoing testing to formulate new goals, tailoring the treatment plan at our ABA therapy center to the client’s age and skill level.
