In Arizona, individuals with developmental diagnoses other than autism may be eligible to receive ABA therapy. For other developmental diagnoses, you must submit a full diagnostic report from the diagnosing physician.

Eligibility may include:

  • Before age 6: A diagnosed developmental disability.
  • After age 6: A qualifying diagnosis such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, cognitive or intellectual disability, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, depression or other qualifying mood disorders, Fragile X syndrome, and/or Klinefelter syndrome.
