FAQs about our Arizona ABA Therapy Centers
We’ve compiled several key questions we receive about our ABA services in Arizona and our responses. Let’s take a look. Of course, if you don’t see your question answered below, contact our team; we’ll be happy to help.
Can you describe a typical day-to-day routine?
At Circle City ABA, we design treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs. This ensures that every session is meaningful and focused on achieving personal goals.
- Treatment plans are customized for each person’s needs.
- For early learners, we may work on handwashing, snack time, circle time, requesting items, and toy play skills.
- For adolescents or adults, we may work on conversation skills, identifying emotions, and folding laundry.
Whether it’s teaching early learners vital life skills or helping adolescents and adults navigate social interactions, our therapy sessions are structured to promote growth and independence.
How often do parents receive training?
We believe that involving parents in the therapy process is crucial for achieving lasting success. That’s why we offer regular parent training to ensure you are equipped to support your child’s progress at home.
- Parent meetings are scheduled every 4-6 weeks with assigned BCBA.
- Training includes learning ABA foundations and applications to utilize at home.
By scheduling parent meetings every 4-6 weeks, we provide ongoing support and guidance, helping you apply ABA techniques in everyday situations for continued growth and development.
How many hours per week can you provide?
At Circle City ABA, we offer flexible service options to meet each individual’s needs. Whether part-time or full-time, our approach ensures that your child or loved one receives the right level of care.
- We provide part-time and full-time services for ABA therapy.
- Only some of the individuals we assess will require full-time services.
- The BCBAs will determine the medically necessary treatment for the best outcomes and progress.
The number of hours of therapy is tailored to each person’s needs, with BCBAs determining the most effective treatment plan to achieve optimal progress and success.
How do you prioritize safety?
At Circle City ABA, safety is our top priority. We have implemented various measures to ensure the well-being of all individuals at our centers.
- We conduct regular safety maintenance, updates, drills, and training.
- We perform national background screenings on all employees.
- All outside doors remain locked at all times. Staff enter the building with a secure key card.
- The Center Operations Director must let all visitors inside.
- We also use cameras.
We maintain a safe and supportive environment through secure access, regular safety protocols, and continuous staff training. To learn more about how we prioritize safety, check out our blog: A Safe Place to Grow.
How do we determine goals?
At Circle City ABA, we take a personalized approach to therapy by carefully assessing each individual’s needs before setting specific goals.
- The BCBA creates an Individual Treatment Plan for each client following an initial assessment.
- The assessment includes a parent interview, biopsychosocial information, reinforcer profile, previous services and education, medical history, and other assessment tools.
- We re-evaluate goals at least every 6 months.
By regularly reviewing progress and updating goals every six months, we ensure that each client receives the most effective and targeted care to support their ongoing development.
What training does your staff receive?
The Circle City ABA team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and ensuring our staff is well-trained to meet each individual’s needs.
- Therapists receive 40 hours of training modules with shadowing opportunities.
- Therapists receive ongoing supervision and training from our BCBAs.
- BCBA must earn a master’s degree in ABA and complete continuing education throughout their career.
Our staff receives extensive initial training, ongoing supervision, and continued education to ensure they are always equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver effective therapy.
