We are able to work with families who come to our Johnston ABA center from many different communities in the surrounding area, including Des Moines, Dallas Center, Clive, Granger, Grimes, Urbandale, Lovington, and more. We also have an ABA center located in Ankeny – along with Cedar Rapids – which further expands our ability to help families in the region.
Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) determine goals through an initial assessment, which then leads to an individual treatment plan for each client we work with. Caregivers will also evaluate parent interviews, biopsychosocial documents, and reinforcer profiles to understand and better serve each child.
Lastly, we recognize that parents and caregivers know their children best, so we regularly consult with them to get their feedback and reevaluate established goals as necessary.
Formalized and standardized assessments help us understand initial strengths and deficits as a baseline. Then, ongoing testing is used to develop new goals. The testing at our Johnston ABA therapy center is based on the age of the client and their skill level.
We accept mostly all self-funded, fully funded, and private insurance. We also accept IowaHHS (Medicaid), Tricare, grants, as well as state funding sources in order to reduce out-of-pocket costs for you and your family.
